Frequently Asked Questions
Why use Webster
Kitchens? - One of the most
frequently asked questions of us, is why use an independant supplier
rather than a large chain such as Magnet/MFI etc. The reasons are
simple: Firstly we operate without huge showrooms, sales staff on
commission and we buy direct from the manufacturer cutting out the
middle man.
How Long Have You Been in the
Business? - 18 years of kitchen
design industry experience working for multi-national companies such
as Magnet, MFI, ScotWood and other exclusive studios.
Who do you use for kitchen
installations? - We have three
teams of specialist fitters who are qualified in all aspects of
kitchen fitting, plumbing, electrics and bespoke joinery. You can
see examples of their work on our portfolio
page.
Do You Provide a Warranty? There
are specific manufacturer warranties for all kitchen products we
supply. Details of these can be supplied during
consultation.
Normally independant suppliers are more
expensive - is this the case? -
No! By being independant we don't have the huge overheads of
showrooms, glossy brochures and sales staff who work on commission.
You can choose your style of kitchen in the comfort of your own
home.
How do your units and worktops compare
quality wise to mainstream suppliers? - We use quality products sourced directly from the
manufacturer. Kitchen units are all 18mm thick and are supplied
rigid colour matched with solid backs and Blum hinges. Drawer units have metal drawer runners as standard and
solid bottoms. You can view samples of our kitchens to compare the
quality first hand.
Can I see examples of your
work? - Yes, on our portfolio
page you will see real examples of our installations and a very
small example of the range of kitchens we can supply and fit. In
addition you can see example kitchens at our new
showroom.
How do I go about narrowing down the
selection process (i.e., cabinets, worktops, etc.) with the hundreds
of options out there? - There are many things to think about
when trying to narrow down your options from the many product
choices available. The best way to start the process is to determine
a budget that you are comfortable with. You also want to decide on
the "overall look" that you are going for. Determining the style
upfront, whether it be country, contemporary, etc. will also greatly
help in the selection process. We also have samples and catalogues
available for you to make your selections from, or you can visit our
showroom for inspiration.
Once the contract has been signed, when
does installation generally begin? - Installation start time
is heavily dependant on the production schedule at the time the
contract is signed. The type of cabinets ordered typically determine
the start time for the project. Stock cabinets are usually available
within a matter of days, however, custom cabinets can take slightly
longer.
